Who We Are
Our History
For more than 130 years, White Flyer has produced state-of-the-art targets and currently serves more gun clubs and shooters than any other target manufacturer in the world.
White Flyer opened its doors for business in 1892 after developing a manufacturing process and target composition that out-performed other targets of the time.
By the early 1900s, Western Cartridge Company – now known as Winchester Ammunition – took ownership of White Flyer and produced clay targets until 1979 when Reagent Chemical and Research purchased the target business.
Over the next 44 years, White Flyer continued to make technical advancements, refine its production methods, and improve target quality to become the #1 target manufacturer in the world.
In 2023, Winchester Ammunition reacquired White Flyer and brought together two leading brands to serve the millions of people who participate in competitive and recreational shotgun shooting sports.

Our Mission
White Flyer Targets has been committed to quality since its first day of business in 1892. This dedication continues with every target and every shipment that leaves our target manufacturing plants.
Our philosophy is simple: “Always produce the best clay target possible and deliver a consistent quality product that meets or exceeds our customer and gun club needs. We will continually strive to improve the quality of our targets and service through our Quality Assurance Program.”
Whether it is Trap, Skeet, Sporting or International targets, White Flyer ensures that each and every target manufactured meets standards and weight specifications required by the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA), National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) and the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).
