  • Winchester and White Flyer Secure Multiple Top Finishes at the 2024 NSCA National Championship

    EAST ALTON, IL (November 4, 2024) — Team Winchester and Team White Flyer received multiple top finishes at the 2024 NSCA National Championship held October 19-27, at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, TX.

    With several podium finishes in various events, Team Winchester and Team White Flyer finished the season strong.

    Team Winchester placements included:

    • Anthony Matarese: Main Event – 3rd, Super Sporting Champion, All-Around – Runner Up
    • Zach Kienbaum: Main Event – Pro Class P1, Super Sporting – 3rd
    • Joe Fanizzi: Junior Main Event – 3rd, FITASC Junior Champion, 5-Stand – Runner Up, 5-Stand Junior Champion
    • Connor Daniels: Main Event Junior – Runner Up, All-Around Junior Champion
    • Desi Edmunds: Main Event Lady – 3rd, Winchester Ladies Cup-Overall – 3rd
    • Mike Wilgus: Veteran Main Event – 4th, FITASC Veteran – Runner up, All-Around Veteran – 3rd

  • Winchester and White Flyer Command Major Presence at the NSCA National Championship

    EAST ALTON, IL (October 17, 2024) — Winchester Ammunition and White Flyer will have a commanding presence at the 2024 National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Championship, October 19-27, the culmination of a full year of intense competitions throughout the country.

    The National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas, plays host to the best sporting clays shooters in the world and the grounds will prominently feature Winchester as the official ammunition and White Flyer the official target of the NSCA Tour.

    New Winchester and White Flyer additions to the National Shooting Complex include:

    • Winchester LED sign welcoming participants to the complex
    • The premiere of the Winchester, White Flyer Pavilion that will be the gathering place for all festivities and hospitality provided by the NSCA
    • A shell barn packed with dominant Winchester AA® ammunition
    • White Flyer targets used on all ranges
    • Updated signage on the Winchester and White Flyer vendor building
    • New selection of Winchester and White Flyer shooting gear

  • Olin – Winchester Acquires White Flyer Targets Business

    CLAYTON, MO (October 2, 2023) — Olin Corporation (NYSE: OLN) announced today that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of White Flyer Targets, North America’s preeminent leader in recreational trap, skeet, and sporting clay targets. White Flyer will be combined with the Winchester Ammunition business.

    The acquisition includes White Flyer’s five state of the art manufacturing facilities in Coal Township, Pennsylvania; Dalton, Georgia; Webb City, Missouri; Knox, Indiana; and, San Bernardino, California and includes White Flyer’s recently announced ECO FLYER® target product line.

    “We welcome our new White Flyer teammates,” noted Brett Flaugher, president of Winchester Ammunition. “Together, we can enhance the continued growth of trap, skeet, sporting clays, and other shotgun sports.     Olin funded the transaction with cash on hand and anticipates that the transaction will be immediately accretive to Olin’s shareholders.
