EAST ALTON, IL (September 11, 2024) — Team Winchester and Team White Flyer took on the South Central Regional at Defender Outdoors, in Fort Worth, Texas. The South Central Regional is the last stop on the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester before the season finale takes place this October in San Antonio, Texas at the National Shooting Complex where a new National Champion and Winchester Ladies Cup Champion will be crowned.

With several runner-up and third place finishes in various events, Team Winchester continued its season-long streak of success.

Team Winchester placements included:

• Joe Fanizzi: Junior Main Event – 3rd, FITASC Junior 3rd
• Zach Kienbaum: 5-Stand – Runner Up
• Connor Daniels: Super Sporting – Junior Champion, 5 Stand – Junior Champion
• Desi Edmunds: Super Sporting – Ladies Runner Up, FITASC Ladies – Runner Up
• Mike Wilgus: Veteran Main Event 3rd
• Kayla Wilgus: Super Sporting – Ladies Champion

The South Central Regional also featured excellent shooting among competitors vying for top honors in the Winchester Ladies Cup standings. Top results included:

• 3rd Place: Haylyn Hanks

In addition to solid performances, White Flyer targets and Winchester AA® shotshells were the star of the weekend with over half a million targets thrown and more than 150,000 Winchester AA target loads put to use.

EAST ALTON, IL (August 21, 2024) — Hopkins Game Farm in Maryland hosted the Northeast Regional as part of the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester, with more than 650 sport shooters in pursuit of locking up top honors.

Team Winchester and White Flyer were led by the shooting of Joe Fanizzi, who claimed the main event junior championship and Desirae “Desi” Edmunds who finished Runner-Up in both the main event and Winchester Ladies Cup. Edmunds was also Lady champion of the Winchester Great American prelim event. Zach Kienbaum added another podium finish to his historic shooting career, finishing 3rd in the main event. Mike Wilgus also continues his excellent year topping several events in the Veteran class.

Fanizzi, Kienbaum and Wilgus all shoot the AA Super Handicap, 1 1/8 oz, 1,250 fps target load, one of the most popular rounds among competitive sport shooters. Edmunds shoots the AA Super Sport 1 oz, 1,250 fps, also known as the “Desi” load. Winchester is proud to offer all shooters these loads and a wide variety of others at all stops on the tour.

EAST ALTON, IL (August 19, 2024) — The 2024 Grand American was a special one for the history books as it signified the 125th anniversary of one of the most popular shooting sports tournaments in the world put on by the Amateur Trap Association (ATA). Winchester Ammunition and White Flyer continued its longstanding support as the ATA’s official ammunition and target in 2024, while also celebrating the anniversary of the Grand American throughout the event.

More than 3,000 people traveled to compete at the Grand American, held at the World Shooting Complex in Sparta, Illinois, where Winchester® AA® target loads and White Flyer targets reigned supreme on the 1,600 acre complex.

Dagen Voigtman, member of Team Winchester, put on a show once again, adding to his highly accomplished shooting sports resume. Dagen burst onto the scene at the Grand American in 2020, when he shot the first ever 400/400 in the history of the three championship events. He again led the team with several event wins and placements. Dagen also defended his 2600 ATA High Overall (HOA) title from 2023. No other competitor hit more White Flyer® AA® orange dome clay targets than Dagen. His overall score, 2562/2600.

The Bartholow Brothers, also long-time Team Winchester members, added to their legendary performances at the Grand American. Matt Bartholow came into this Grand looking for his 4th straight World Doubles title. After four years of shooting this event, Matt finally missed a target and finished with a near perfect 99/100. That put him in a shoot-off, which he won after ten boxes of AA target shotshells that sealed a spot in the top 10. Team Winchester member Keith Ditto was also consistent throughout the competition and locked in champion of preliminary week.

EAST ALTON, IL (July 31, 2024) — Team Winchester, comprised of some of the best shooters in the world and equipped with the formidable Winchester® AA® shotshells, secured another championship and podium finish at the 2024 NSCA US Open. Held at Northbrook Sports Club in Hainesville, Illinois, the 2024 NSCA US Open spanned six days of fierce competitive shooting with nearly 1,200 competitors.

Team Winchester and Team White Flyer members’ top tier performances throughout the event garnered several wins and top place finishes with Anthony Matarese crowned the 2024 NSCA US Open Champion. Joe Fanizzi finished strong coming in runner up. Connor Daniel was the FITASC Champion.
